How to improve the reception on the new Apple iPhone 3G. - No hacking or hardware changed required
Steps
- Turn on iPhone and check current signal strength
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap on “General”
- Tap on “Network”
- Under Enable 3G, slide it to “OFF” setting
- Go back to home screen and wait for 2 mins
- Check that the signal has improved

- You can easily revert back and enable 3G
